I want to install Ubuntu server x64 on VM to set up document management file for my company I work. But when trying to install, there is an error message “this virtual machine is configured for 640bit guest operating systems. however, 64-bit operation is not possible.”

This means that my processor doesn’t support virtualization technology or virtualization technology is not turned on. So, to check if my computer support vt, one that can be done, I have to install Intel Processor Identification Utility because I am using Intel [1]. Then, if it supports it, turn the vt tech through bios and ubuntu installation can be resumed.
